Come fly a kite at the inaugural Gold Coast International Festival of Kites this September! Held over a full weekend, the event features international kite flyers from Asia, Canada, Germany, New Zealand and Australia. Head down to the beach and watch the skies become a colourful kaleidoscope of kites.

The event was previously known as the Kirra Kite Festival. But the CSGC has joint forces with Broadbeach Alliance and Surfers Paradise Alliance to reinvent the event into the Gold Coast International Festival of Kites which will have three hubs along the coast - Surfers Paradise, Broadeach and of course further south the original home, Kirra.
