Australia’s premier youth literature festival, Somerset’s Celebration of Literature Festival is back! It is a writers’ festival for the Gold Coast. The festival hosts over fifty schools from south east Queensland and northern New South Wales. Over 8,000 students attend over the festival’s three-day period.
From 15-17 March 2017, the festival will welcome over 30 Australian and international authors and illustrators at Somerset College, Mudgeeraba. They will be conducting author sessions and workshops during these three days.
There will be a Bookshop open for book purchases and author signings. There will also be panel sessions, workshops and more for adults who want to join!
Get ready for events such as The Prologue Party, Literary Lunch and Literary Long Table with guest speakers. The winners of the National Novella and Poetry Prize competitions will also be announced during the festival.
It’s bound to be a great three days at the Somerset Celebration of Literature!
