In a first for Australian business, Timezone™ Surfers Paradise was awarded 'Top Family Entertainment Centre in the world' at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) awards.
Timezone™ Surfers Paradise is already recognised as the largest indoor family entertainment centre in Australia as well as the biggest Timezone™ in the world. The prestigious 2014 Brass Ring Top FECs of the World IAAPA award is an amazing achievement for the Queensland business.
Mr Juan Uribe the Owner and Director of the Surfers Paradise Timezone™ partnership, attributes winning the award at looking at a family-friendly business through the eyes of a child. He stated, “we changed the concept to focus on families by bringing in attractions and activities rather than video games. Now 80 per cent of our visitors are families.” Nice move Timezone™!
