Getting around the Gold Coast has never been easier since the introduction of the 'G'. (Otherwise known as G:Link, Gold Coast Light Rail, or Gold Coast tram.)
Along the track there are 16 Gold Coast Light Rail stations. On one end you have the Broadbeach South station and the Gold Coast University Hospital at the other end. The stops in between let you out at some of the best attractions on the Gold Coast. Here's a breakdown of some of the stations and what you can expect to access from those departure points:
Broadbeach South -
Directly in front of the newly renovated Pacific Fair Shopping Centre (Events Cinema), Draculas Cabaret Restaurant.
Broadbeach North -
Jupiters Casino and Theatre, Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre (GCCEC), Kurrawa Park, Broadbeach dining precinct, Oasis Shopping Complex, Oracle Shopping Centre, Niecon Shopping Plaza, Broadbeach Markets (1st and 3rd Sunday at Kurrawa Park).
Florida Gardens -
Kokoda Memorial Walk at Cascade Gardens, Four Winds 360 Revolving Restaurant.
Northcliffe -
Beach, surf club.
Surfers Paradise -
Q1 SkyPoint Observation Deck, Pancakes in Paradise, iFly Indoor Skydiving.
Cavill Avenue -
Hard Rock Cafe, Paradise Centre, Timezone, The Wax Museum, Surfers Paradise Night Markets, Ripleys Believe it or Not Odditorium, 7D Cinema, Jet Boat Extreme, Surfers RSL, Aqua Duck and more.
Cypress Avenue -
Chevron Renaissance Shopping Centre, Infinity Attraction, Adrenalin Park (Vomatron, Sling Shot, etc), RaceCentre.
Surfers Paradise North -
Citrique at the Marriott, Planet Chill Ice Skating, King Tutts Putt Putt.
Main Beach -
Tedder Avenue Precinct, Macintosh Island Park, Marina Mirage Shopping, Jetpack Flyboard Adventures, Sea World. (please be aware that taxi or bus transfers or a long walk may be necessary to access some of these destinations).
